Paul Peulich is a Dingley Village resident and Finance graduate of the Manhattan College, New York.
Paul wants to give North Ward stronger representation and to ensure there is forward planning of, and financially sound investment in, local infrastructure.
Working with and lobbying all levels of government to deliver on outstanding commitments including building all stages of the Dingley Arterial to fix local traffic congestion, better management of open space, tips, Moorabbin Airport and better transport are on Cr Peulich’s agenda. Supporting local business, industry and jobs, especially in the face of the economic downturn, is also a key priority.
Paul is a member of the Globe to Globe World Music Festival Committee; Audit Committee; Kingston Youth Festival; Kingston Youth Advisory Committee; and Arts and Culture Reference Group.
With a strong interest in all sport, track and field has been Paul's passion since he joined Moorabbin Little Athletics at the age of five. Since then, Paul has represented Australia at the World Junior and World Youth Athletics Championships in the throws, finishing 10th in the world in shot put. The dream to qualify for the next Commonwealth Games in hammer means Paul spends many hours on the track and in the gym.
Paul's life-long love of music has seen him move from classical music to producing hip-hop and house music. He also enjoys community affairs, politics and socialising with friends. With a love of the great outdoors, Cr Peulich enjoys Kingston’s beaches and parks.
